A Rainy Evening: A short story by achary Himanshu Gaur

After eating the food, at around 2:00 in the afternoon, I felt sleepy and I fell asleep.
When I woke up, it was 5:30 in the evening, and there was a power failure.
I had a great dream again this afternoon.
And then after sleeping and waking up I drank some water!
Woke up to tea,
Then took some money from the cupboard and took out a bag and started to take milk.
I noticed that the whole atmosphere had become a dark color.




 Due to rain, water was flooded everywhere.
I had not worn my glasses the day before, which had broken 1 pedicle.
And today I was going to get milk without glasses, then I realized that without glasses, my work can go on.
Well, seeing all the people present in the locality as a shadow, I reached the milk shop.
He was missing his seat as usual and entered his house adjacent to the shop.
I sounded, then he came.
At that time he was talking on the phone,
Still he took milk out of the fridge and gave it to me.
The date of the previous day (14/01/2020) was written on a bag, so I pointed it to him, so he changed it.
Then I turned around and came back to my house.
Milk kept in the kitchen, and asking Karmananda to make tea, he came to the same room where the evening lamp was lit,
And Friday worship was also done.
I was lying on my bed just a short distance away from him and I am writing this story.
Today only, ie 17 January 2020 !!
I entered the quilt again, and was lost in the memories of my shimmering dreams.
The light is still light, and in my room is the light of the same worship lamp.
Well I love the light of a candle or lamp for sometime!
And when I feel like working with a laptop, I love electricity at that time.
Candle light or dim light is preferred when dreaming.
In this way, the mind of a man is different at different times.
Whenever I often come with me two or four times a year, that I sleep in the afternoon and wake up in the evening, then light gul,
I like it very much.
One who rises from a deep dream!
Once, it happened at that time,
While living in Bhopal, I was doing research in phonology and lived in room number 135 of the hostel.
It was the month of September 2015,
That when I slept at 4:30 in the evening and when I woke up at 7:00, the light went off.
When I looked around, the same darkness!
When I got up and came out, it was getting dark in my entire gallery outside, but as soon as I came out of the hotel I saw that the lights in many rooms were burning.
Abhinaya Maurya, Dharmendra Sharma, Akhilesh Tripathi, etc. were sitting outside talking some things.
At that time, I was wearing a white cotton shirt with light green stripes, and a blue colored lower.
At that time, I did not wear glasses.
I came out and said - "Dharmendra! Why is this light gone ??
"Don't have to check the address"
"Never mind, I don't care"
"Let's go drinking tea, what ??"
he got dressed !
Then we go!
I decided the whole path in my dream!
I awakened after drinking tea there!
I remembered that day today,
Because I had a special dream that day too!
In which my revered Baba ji, who passed away in 2007, appeared to me in a dream the same day.
By the way, he used to see me often in dreams, because he loved me a lot!
My childhood was spent with him, that's why I have a very deep image on his mind !!
I saw it that day in a dream - that is their form!
When I used to go for tea with them in my childhood, and we both used to drink tea!
I again saw in my dream that
I am now 24 years old Himanshu, and am taking tea for him!
And we drank tea there!
But the strange thing is that Baba ji,
The two cups they had,
One of them was named "Gandhi" and the other was named "Nehru".
And he told me that you drink tea in "Nehru", I drink tea in "Gandhi"!
And you know, 'dreams are dreams'!
The place of drinking tea was home-based, located in the market place of my birth.
But as soon as I had another cup of tea,
That place was changed and made in my balcony of my room in Bhopal campus along with my Baba ji,
From where I often saw the sunset scene.
And the third chuski, as soon as it was taken, then turned into a mango orchard at the crossroads of my village!
This is the dream of dreams!
If you meditate, thousands of kilometers of distance disappear in an instant!
We can build anything, any kind of building in our imaginations!
Can go anywhere in a moment!
You can eat anything you want, and anything can be made !!
In the world of reality, which is not achieved even after millions of diligence, in a dream man can achieve it immediately!
In this way, this world is also like a dream.

......is that all!!
